2019 MALBEC
TASTING NOTES
Our 2021 Malbec expresses beautiful extraction in its deep ruby hue. The aromas are vibrant with wild mulberry, purple violets, plums, and savory baking spices. This wine is approachable and silky in texture, with inviting ripe red raspberry and other red fruit characteristics. The healthy acidity and chalky tannin profile make this wine perfect for your favorite food pairings.
PRODUCTION NOTES
Our Malbec was sourced from our Coble Ranch vineyard in Winters, CA. After small lot fermentation, the wine was pressed and aged in once-used French oak for approximately 8 months before being bottled. Due to the complexity of flavors imparted by the three Malbec clones planted on our vineyard, this wine contains the concentrated flavors and tannin profile typical of French Malbecs, as well as the spice and ripe fruit characteristics of their Argentinian counterparts.
